Around 6am on January 16th campus traffic will be moved to backup firewalls. This will cause an interruption to long-lived connections, but should otherwise not be noticed by most people.

After traffic is moved to a different firewall, the previously active firewalls will be upgraded to a new version of software. The upgrades should be complete by 7:30am, but no interruptions to traffic are expected after 6:15am.
